Seasonal Clean Ups & Pruning

Are you the type of people that like to mow their own lawn? Alternatively, do you have the kid in the neighborhood do this for you? You may have a person who does this as a side business. There can be many scenarios why you do not need our complete maintenance program; we can offer to you seasonal clean ups and lawn treatment programs.
Side note: Be sure anyone applying chemicals in your yard is licensed and insured to do this. There are hefty fines and legal issues, which affect you and the applicator if these laws are not obeyed.

Spring Clean Up

We will come to your property after the winter and clean up the winter debris. We can properly clean out and prepare your beds for the season to come.

We will pick up and take away all the debris. Prune and prepare your plants for the growth season. We can treat your lawn and shrubs with fertilizer and pre-emergent and develop a program designed to your needs (you should only have a certified applicator do this). We can apply mulch and leave your property neat, clean and looking sharp; ready for weekly mowing.

Mulching

Mulches are used to enrich the appearance of a landscape. A bed of mulch around ornamental plants provides separation between the landscaping and the grass and/or pavement areas. Mulching however is not just for visual appeal. Mulch helps maintain moisture and keeps plants healthy.

Reasons for Mulching

Through mulching, plants are able to conserve moisture and maintain a uniform temperature at the root zone. Mulching also prevents lawn mower damage to tree trunks, causes a reduction in weed growth and provides a beautiful visual appeal. Furthermore, through mulching, a weed-free, grass-free area is established which will help in the establishment process for your landscape plant root development.

Summer Pruning

Many of your shrubs will need a trim in the summer; a professional should be hired to perform this job for you. Proper shaping, trimming and cleaning up expertly done can result in continued health and growth of your shrubs and plantings.

Fall Clean Up

This is the most important time of year you should have a professional clean up your yard. Leaving leaves and debris on your lawn and in beds for the winter can be detrimental to your lawn and plants. Proper cutting back of perennial’s, flowers and plants can ensure healthy sprouts when Spring arrives.

Winter Pruning & Tree Diagnostics

Winter is the time of year you should trim all your trees. If you see branches, consistently falling in your yard this is a sign of problems. Proper pruning and diagnostics are an important factor to the timing of pruning and treating your trees. Ask our experts to take a stroll around your property with you to take a look at your trees for signs of disease or declination.
