Our Nursery

In 2001, we added a nursery to provide our clients with quality plantings and the results have been reflected in our clients faces when they see how beautiful these new plants perform year after year.

The main structure is a 17 ft. x 48 ft. Quonset style greenhouse. This is where we grow many of our own herbaceous perennials that eventually find their way to many of our clients homes.
 
Outside of the greenhouse is the Nursery area where our trees and shrubs are located. A combination of overhead irrigation and drip system irrigation assures that all plants receive the correct amount of water.
 
The main focus is to grow strong root systems that provide strong plants, better flowering, and less chance of fatality. Everyday the plants are checked individually to be sure each is receiving the correct amount of water, light, and fertilization. We also make sure the plants are free of insects and fungus. Growing healthy plants saves us the needless time of replacing plants and keeps our clients happier. Our goal is to make zero replacements in the years to follow.

Another benefit that has become apparent is that by having our plant material on hand we have been able to better serve our clients with more efficiency and quicker service.
